Ok, you all should look at this:

International Students applying for a job in Singapore:

1.      Once you have secured an offer of employment in Singapore, the Manpower Ministry will want an original document from UOL verifying that you have been awarded your degree. At the moment, the UOL Notification of Results or a letter from SIM are both insufficient evidence.

2.      While it is possibly that ICA issues the employment pass before the final exam results are released, most graduates found that ICA requires proof of completion before an employment pass or S pass is issued.

3.      International students can start looking for a job in Singapore before the results are out, but be mindful that they may only be able to get the right employment or S-pass approved after the results are out.

4.      Verification letters from UOL are to be requested from the transcripts office of University of London. You will need to request for one and pass it on to ICA/Manpower Ministry before you may be issued the right pass. It may involve payment in £. Their email address is transcripts@lon.ac.uk.

5.      Again, after getting employment in Singapore, please update the SIM Students’ Portal with your work details.

I was invited for second interview and they said the same things to me about the employment pass thing :(

It's kind of wasting my time this 1 month applying for hundreds of jobs when at the end the fact that S pass or employment pass can only be approved when results are out, and we need a document from UOL.

But, I do learn so many things from 3 interviews. It's kind of preparing myself for the real job which I always want.

Now I have to change my plan for about 3 months ahead, what to learn more, how to upgrade myself and learn new things.

I was walking around with Dewi few weeks ago before she went back Indo,

and there was like a quiz, asking us to take photo with either one, and twitpic it.

So I choose to take photo with Elvin (so confuse leh Elvin or Ping Hui arrr?) haha..

had a tomato japanese noodle at Takashimaya.. it has been more than 10 years there!! and still as good as before :)



Borrowed some books at National Library for Kent. Sis read it every day for him before he sleeps.

Oh ya, there will be a program of Couple Encouragement at my church St Anthony on 24th June,

it is for married couple who wants to renew their love with their spouse,

Father Gerard encourage couples to sign up for this,

he said sometimes after 1 year of marriage, couples tend to be so loving,

2nd year is like friend,

3rd year is like relative,

4th year start to be like enemy,

5th year want to kill each other,

6th year want to divorce.

I think it's quite right as I have seen it in my own family too.

Never expect that Pastor Gerard will tell us jokes also, since he always look serious :')

After all, Happy Sunday to all of you, and Happy Father's Day to all fathers..
